The poorest Printing Company I have done business With

I am not a professional designer. However, I do some basic layout and design consisting of Business Cards, Postcards, Etc. I have probably completed 30 projects in the last year. Most of our business was done with Hi Res Studios, but they went out of business. We also use Postcard Kingdom for banners. After Hi-Res took the trip I was searching for another printer. Through a little surfing I found PS Print. I ordered their fancy book that is very nice, it details what they do, papers, etc. I ordered some business cards from them. All of their file specs were followed. I get the cards and the color is TERRIBLE, it is not even close. I called them to voice my concern, they stated that since I had not ordered their hard copy proof, that they were not responsible for color problems! WHAT? I could drag the details out but it comes down to THIS COMPANY DOES NOT PRODUCE COLOR ACCURATELY. They stated that "if color was important to you, you should have ordered a proof. Never mind the fact that they can''t even produce a standard cmyk color exported correctly into a tiff. THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFUND, CREDIT, OR RE-PRINT THE CARDS. My next error was ordering 2,000 postcards from them without first recieving the first order of business cards. The postcards were terrible to with inconsistent color & roller marks. If you want to waste time and money, do business with PS Print.
